Fire & FreedomMINISTRIES

Statement of Faith

What we believe.

Fire & Freedom Ministries is a Christian ministry. We build trade schools, dig wells, and sit with men coming out of prison because of what we believe about God. Here it is, plainly.

God is real, and He is good.

There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He made everything, He knows everything, He holds everything, and nothing that happens to a person is outside His reach.

Genesis 1:1; Matthew 28:19; Psalm 103:19

The Bible is His Word.

We trust the Bible, Old and New Testaments, as God’s inspired Word, true in all it says, and the final authority for what we believe and how we live. When our opinions and Scripture disagree, Scripture wins.

2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21

Jesus is the whole story.

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, and He lived without sin. He died on a cross, His blood paying for our sins in full. He rose bodily from the grave on the third day, went back to the Father, and is coming again in glory.

John 1:1–14; Hebrews 9:22; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4

Every person matters, and every person needs saving.

Every man and woman is made in God’s image and loved by Him. Every one of us has sinned, and sin separates us from God. No one is too far gone, and no one is good enough on their own.

Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23

Second chances come from the cross.

Salvation is a gift. It cannot be earned, bought, or worked off. Whoever turns from sin and trusts Jesus is forgiven, born again by the Holy Spirit, and adopted into God’s family. That is the freedom we are named for.

Ephesians 2:8–9; John 3:3–7; Acts 3:19

The Holy Spirit does the work.

The Spirit lives in every believer, convicts of sin, gives new life, and keeps changing us until we look like Jesus. As at Pentecost, He gives power to live holy and to tell people about Christ, and He gives gifts to build up the Church, always used in line with Scripture.

John 16:8; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1–4; 2 Corinthians 3:18; 1 Corinthians 12–14

The Church is family.

Everyone born of the Spirit belongs to the body of Christ. Together we worship, we carry one another, we make disciples of all nations, and we go to the poor, the prisoner, and the oppressed. We baptize new believers by immersion and share the Lord’s Supper to remember what Jesus did until He returns.

Matthew 28:18–20; James 1:27; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

Freedom is for the whole person.

Jesus came to preach good news to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, and set captives free. That freedom is spiritual first, and then it shows up in daily life: a trade, a tool, a job, a family. That is why we put fuel behind second chances.

Isaiah 61:1; Luke 4:18

Marriage and the home.

Marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman before God, and the home is where faith is first taught and caught.

Genesis 2:24; Deuteronomy 6:6–7

Jesus is coming back.

He will return in person, on a day no one knows, to set up His Kingdom. Everyone will be raised: those who are in Christ to life with God forever, and those who refused Him to judgment and separation from God forever. That is why the Gospel cannot wait.

Matthew 24:36; John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15; Revelation 21:3–4

How we serve.

We love without condition, serve without leverage, and share truth without coercion. Nobody has to believe, attend, or convert to get help from us. We tell people about Jesus openly because we believe He is the answer, and we leave the response between them and God.
